Terrible food. Service was fine. There's really not much to say about this place. I only went because that's where someone from work took me. On par with a Dennys if you like that kind of thing.

If you like waiting 15 min to just get greeted and given water and week like waiting almost an hour for mediocre food, then you'll love this place.

This place has gone down hill! This used to be a decent place to eat. My hubby and I stopped here because we had a gift card... Extremely overpriced and not much was tasty.. The only thing we enjoyed were the walleye bites... Won't come back to this location.

We frequently hit Green Mill for a couple of reasons. They often have specials that help to trim your bill. We do like their pizzas, pasta, and their happy hour specials (half-priced appetizers and personal pizzas). Service has been hit or miss at times. The restaurant can also get loud. It's a farily typical restaurant/bar with several television screens for watching games. However, the patio is great during nice weather. Hit the Green Mill during Happy Hour and sit on the patio, and you can have a nice time. While we love the deep dish pizza, we don't always have the time (40 minutes) to wait for it. That's okay, because we enjoy their traditional crust pizzas as well. The appetizers tend to be very good as well.

The meal was good, but the service at our table was horribly delayed. We went in one group (had reserved tables earlier) the tables were see separately. So when one part of the group had finished their food and were ready to leave some of us hadn't even been served. I had to wait more than 45 minutes for my food. Everyone was getting impatient. Our server didn't even replenish our water. We had to keep bothering the server at the other table to inform our server. She Came to our table only a few times. Even to pay the bill we had to wait ages. By then half our group had left. What an inconvenience. That's the last time most of us will go to green mill.

1st time at a Green Mill. Good atmosphere and clean. We had an excellent experience with our waitress (Alex). Food wasn't bad, enjoyed the appetizers the most (wings). Just caught half priced appetizers for happy hour which ended at 1800. An enjoyable experience with the family. Would visit again.

Had dinner there last night for the first time. I had the Avocado Ranch Burger with sweet potato fries, while my SO had a deep dish pizza with spicy chicken, artichoke, and spinach. We were very impressed. Our server was excellent, the atmosphere was great considering it was a Monday evening, and the food was delicious. Really enjoyed the sweet potato fries in particular. Would definitely go back

Highly forgettable... redirect to Granite City! Our salads were boring and slightly wilted. Wife's Asian salad was not Asian in the least. And she is a Filipino. Try as hard as we did to like it, the service was lacksadaisical and the food was non-descript. We wasted our money, should have cooked at home. Perhaps they're better known for their pizza.

Y O U C A L L THAT A B R E A K F A S T B U FF E T ?? I was driving through St Cloud for a wedding, needed breakfast, and saw a hotel/motel with a huge sign that said RESTAURANT. I said to myself, girl, that is a good bet for a decent breakfast, and I don't see a huge Perkins flag anywhere. And I am running out of time. I pull into the parking lot and lo and behold a GREEN MILL !! YES !! I figure that as decent as all the Green Mills are that I have ever been to, this should be good. WRONG . Sure, it was clean and cutsey, even while under partial renovations. There was no full service menu, just an awful breakfast buffet with minimal food. Boy was I wrong. I suppose a room comes with a complimentary breakfast. I've had better comp breakfast at Motel 6 on an interstate. At least the bacon was awesome. Ice cold muffins, and white bread for toast. Yum. I was going for the sausage instead of bacon so as not to retain so much h2o , but it takes 1st place in the worst breakfast sausage category. Maybe the chef should consider spending a couple more bucks a case and get something edible. I hear Jimmy Dean has got a great sausage. Did I say that ? To add insult to injury, the waitress pretty much ignored me till I flagged her down. And when I asked for the check, she dawdled, and left my dirty plates sitting there. Really? Perhaps a a few lessons in serving and customer service. Ay yi yi. At least I made it to the wedding in time. 1 1/2 MORE BLOCKS AND I COULD HAVE GONE TO PERKINS.

We came here for Sunday Happy hour. Their Bloody Mary mix is terrible. Ask for half tomato juice. Their Guacamole was more yellow than brown. He told me there were two orders before us, and so, they were out of bruschetta. I asked if they had tomatoes and balsamic... Terrible

I have ordered take-out from them to eat while on break at work two times and they have messed up my order both times. Today I ordered a gyro with no tomatoes and extra cucumber sauce and I received a gyro with tomatoes and no cucumber sauce. Not to mention my fries were soggy. Definitely not worth the money I paid. If you get food from the Green Mill, get it at the restaurant instead of ordering out so that when they mess up your order, they're not already gone and unable to fix it.

Not the same Bloody Mary mix as other Green Mills. Had great food here last time!

No reason to eat here. I had my suspicions, but I was on a road trip with a couple of stubborn passengers who decided for some reason that this place looked acceptable based on having absolutely no knowledge with which to make that determination, so I decided to suck it up and park. Basically like a Minnesotan T.G.I. Friday's or Chili's or Applebee's or whatever similar place with mediocre ingredients and mediocre preparation. It wasn't terrible but there's no point in eating at a place like this when you can try something that isn't a chain instead.

My aunt and uncle were in for a few days for my brother's wedding in St. Cloud. We stayed at the Best Western and we had a special deal, for $65 you get a room by the pool with an extra large pizza at Green Mill. My aunt and uncle got a room and my wife and I did. Cool....2 pizzas! We sat down for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We ordered Diet Cokes which were refilled all the time, which is always a plus. My wife doesn't eat cheese so we ordered a spinach and chicken pizza, but with cheese on only one half of the pizza. After about 15 minutes, our pizza comes out and it is prepared. It had the perfect amount of cheese and no cheese, but my only complaint was that the crust was a little too crispy, but my wife loved the crust, so all was awesome. The service both times we went (The second pizza was just as good) The service was so great, that it was a solid restaurant. TVs were everywhere, which also added to the ambiance.

We were first here when our niece's wedding guests stayed at the adjacent hotel a few years back. The other day we returned for lunch. The menu is extremely broad, the service pleasant with a nice pub-like atmosphere. We had buffalo wings which come with a choice of multiple sauces, onion rings, and Asian egg rolls to start. My caesar salad was excellent. A great place if you have a group with varied tastes.

Stopped by for lunch and was greeted by the receptionist promptly. She seemed nice until she just tossed my menu like a Frisbee on the bar where I was going to sit. The bartender was terrible. She didn't refill my beverage, as how my food was, or even said thank you when she brought the check. I had the $10.99 turkey club. It was good, but not for $11. Next time I will try something else. I have been to Green Mill restaurants before in other areas, but I won't be going back to this location any time soon because of the poor service. Overall, Green Mill restaurants are usually good and I would go back to them again.

If I had to equate this restaurant to another, I'd say this was an older version of an Applebees. The crowd that this restaurant draws is typically older. The appearance and ambiance inside the restaurant give an older generation type feeling. So I was pretty hesitant to dine here. It was very typical of a family restaurant. They serve a little bit of everything here with nothing really standing out. They had told us their specialty was the pizza so we ordered a large deep dish with pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage. As an appetizer we started with the nachos. Both weren't bad, but weren't anything spectacular. The drinks were cheap though. $1 for margaritas and they weren't watered down. This was a big plus. I mean, if you have to eat "OK" level food, it's always better to do it while getting tanked. The service really lacked here. I kept making the reference that "Buddy Holly" isn't much a waiter because it seemed like we were kind of side lined. We had parties and couples served faster and tended to more than our group. Pretty disappointing. I'd come back only during happy hours.

Not impressed. We waited quite awhile at the host stand. My husband and I both had pasta dishes and neither of us felt they were cooked very well...under cooked. The first dish my husband wanted had spring and lobster in the pasta. The server came back and told him that they were 'out of the little lobster guys'. He also had to switch his drink. The lemonade was just about water color. The server said he thought it looked different. So, it was replaced with raspberry tea. I personally didn't taste tea...just all raspberry. Ate 1/2 of our entrees and didn't bring them home. I will say, though, the margherita pizza is awesome. However, I do not live in St Cloud anymore. So I don't have the chance to get that. Also based on past experience, their Sunday brunch has really gone down hill.

The waitress was very rude. After we finsihed our food, she never picked up the plates. We were there for an hour and a half, and the stupid waitress NEVER once picked up our plates. Imagine sitting with your best friends, enjoying the evening with smelly eaten off plates. The restaurant itself was great, however, the waitress was just plain stupid.

Grabbed some apps and drinks here with colleagues tonight. They had prompt service, a friendly waitress and good food. I had the featured nacho's. They were presented well and tasted very good. The beer menu had a nice selection. I'm sure I'll be back as it's located in the same building as the hotel and the event center.

Its like a diner in my opinion. Good service but average ambience. To me some windows would help out the place.

The food here is awesome and I love the happy hour!! Awesome deals. 2 times a day normally they have happy hour. And often times during the year they have the free bottle of wine with 2 entrees. We have taken advantage of that special as well. Never had bad service here and never had anything bad. One of my favorite places in St Cloud!

Coming from the Twin Cities, I know that Green Mill serves a decent meal, and serves up the drinks nicely. I had some good pizza at this location, but the service was horrible, at least on a Monday or Tuesday. A few times, they made mistakes on my meal, with little attention to quality. Sure, it tasted pretty good, but it was not the standard of service that I was used to in the Cities. I avoid this place, and am consistently disappointed when I do break down and go there.

I like this place good food and service mor rester aunt than bar. While pizza is one of it's staples I think labeling it a pizza joint does it a disservice a full bar restaurant
